Setting up your account and finding your way around
1 min read
Before you create your first portrait, all you need is an account and a few minutes. The setup is deliberately lean so you can get going quickly. After registering you confirm your email address, and the dashboard is open to you. From there you reach everything important through a clear navigation, without clicking through nested menus.
The dashboard is the starting point for everything. Here you see at a glance how many credits you have, find your most recently created portraits and get to the central areas with one click. The most important of these are Create, where new portraits are made, Portfolio, where all results are collected, and Billing & credits, where you buy credits and manage your subscriptions.
Credits and the first step
To create portraits you need credits. One credit gives you one finished portrait, and your subscription tops up new credits to your account every month. If you are trying snaptosuit for the first time, a small amount of credit is enough to get a feel for the process. Only once you know which look suits you is a larger subscription or buying subscriptions for a whole team worth it.
Once the account is set up and credits are available, you are ready. The fastest way to a first result is the Create area: upload a selfie, choose a look, generate. Everything else, from managing a team to exporting whole image packages, builds on this simple basic flow.
Account and security
In the profile settings you manage your account. There you change your password, enter your details and can additionally enable two-factor login to better protect your access. It is worth setting this up right at the start, so your account and your images are secure from the beginning.
